Giving Bearnanza is a one-week fundraising event that invites our Bear Community to come together and support what UNC is all about: the determination, dedication, and success of our students.
This week of philanthropy kicks-off on Bear Tuesday (December 1), and ends on Colorado Gives Day (December 8)

UNC remains committed to removing barriers for students to receive a higher education. In alignment with admissions Free App Day on December 1st, we invite our Bear Community to make a gift to cover the cost of an application.
The UNC Scholarship Fund provides critical financial scholarship support to UNC students.
The Disaster Relief Fund supports students who are faced with unforeseen hardships, like the COVID-19 pandemic. The Disaster Relief Fund will help keep students on the path toward graduation by providing critical financial relief in the face of an emergency situation.
Bear Panty provides food and other essential items for students who are facing food insecurity. The Bear Pantry helps alleviate the pressures of having to choose between basic necessities and the required costs of college.
The Marcus Garvey Cultural Center creates meaningful programs and experiences for UNC students while providing a space for students of color to feel a sense of belonging and empowerment throughout their UNC experience.
The Latino Youth Leadership Conference is an annual event hosted by UNC’s Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity for young Latinos in the Greeley community. The LYLC fosters leadership, self-esteem and promotion of higher education.

The Center for Women’s and Gender Equity builds a community through programming and resources that support UNC students in deepening their understanding of social justice and gender equity in order to be effective advocates for changes on their campus and in their communities.
The Cumbres Teacher Preparation Program supports future ESL teachers by providing a $750 scholarship and an inclusive learning community where they will develop and foster the relationships and skills to support future English-Language learners.
The DACA scholarship supports UNC DREAMers by providing funding for DACA renewals so that these student can continue to legally live and pursue their education in the US.
Approximately 40 percent of UNC students are the first in their family to attend college. The First Generation Scholarship Fund will provide crucial financial support to these trailblazing students.
The Take Down Club is the official fundraising arm of UNC Wrestling. Contributions provide funding for program need and scholarships that support UNC Wrestling student-athletes.
The Sports Performance Center will be a new strength and conditioning facility that will support the success of our 400 student-athletes by accommodating new equipment that is designed to meet the athletic performance need of multiple sports and allow larger, full team workouts.
The University of Northern Colorado Cancer Rehabilitation Institute is recognized as a frontrunner in exercise-based cancer rehabilitation. The UNCCRI allows UNC students get hands on experience while improving the lives of cancer survivors.
