Bears Give Back — Strengthening UNC and Community
Alumni, friends, faculty and staff came together to support students, programs and the Greeley community — with matching gifts increasing the impact of many donations
Each April, University of Northern Colorado (UNC) Bears come together through Bears Give Back to make a tangible difference for students, programs and academic areas. The annual giving campaign celebrates the generosity and spirit of alumni, friends, faculty and staff — all contributing to a stronger UNC and a stronger Greeley community.
This year, 353 donors participated. Their support contributed to a giving initiative that brought in $177,665 in total funds — $25,000 more than last year – to more than 23 featured funds across campus. The campaign achieved remarkable results, amplified by $95,000 in matching gifts, which doubled the impact of many donations.
