Western Undergraduate Exchange

The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program provides reduced tuition automatically to students who are residents of one of the states participating in the WUE program.

Qualifying Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) students at UNC automatically receive a significant tuition reduction—with no extra steps or major restrictions—and can still stack renewable merit scholarships on top. Unlike many institutions, UNC guarantees these benefits to all admitted students from WUE states, helping your investment stretch further without limiting your academic path.
