The Office of Marketing is part of the Division of University Relations. The director of marketing, graphic designers, writer and interns work closely with the division’s other offices and other academic and administrative departments to accurately, professionally and positively communicate messages about the university to external and internal constituencies.
More specifically, we are responsible for:
- Building and promoting the University of Northern Colorado brand and communications program, focusing on unifying UNC’s message across publications, marketing collateral, graphic design, internal and external communications, and advertising.
- Working with staff responsible for marketing individual programs within the University to further their goals and ensure that those efforts support the university’s overall marketing goals and fit within the brand messaging developed by the University.
- Collaborating closely with admissions and enrollment management and individual colleges to strategically target and recruit students who fit the optimal enrollment profile of the University including demographic and geographic diversity, academic rankings, and ability.
- Working closely with Web Communications, Photography and Public Relations to ensure consistent branding and messaging in printed and online marketing communications.
