Dr. Basu's research is featured on Fox news

Denver's Fox 31 television news, station KDVR, recently featured Dr. Chhandak Basu's research into engineering non-food crops to produce biodiesel fuel components. See it at this link.

Dr. Adams on reality TV

Dr. Rick Adams (Professor, Biological Sciences) and his bat research team of UNC graduate students have been invited to be a part of a new TV series entitled "Night," under production by Animal Planet (an affiliate of Discovery Channel). The series will include 20 biologists from around the world that conduct research on night-active animals. A film crew from Animal Planet will be in Colorado in July, travelling into the field with Adams and his team to film first-hand their research on Colorado bat ecology.

Biology faculty receive grants worth $2.4 million.
