Minor Overview

The Dance Minor is your chance to move, create and perform — no matter what you’re majoring in. You’ll train in multiple dance styles, push your physical limits and discover what your body can express.

Whether you’re choreographing your first piece or performing on stage, dance becomes your creative outlet and your release.

Designed for students with a passion for movement, the Dance Minor provides study in ballet, modern and jazz techniques, along with choreography, improvisation, and performance.

You’ll take courses that help you develop artistic expression, discipline, and physical awareness — skills that enhance any field of study.
