Admission Requirements

Prerequisite Coursework
- Earn at least a grade of C in all prerequisite coursework.

Bachelor’s Degree Requirement
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited US institution conferred before July 1 of intended matriculation year.
Minimum MCAT Score & GPA
- A minimum MCAT score of 498 is required, with no subsection below 123. Scores must be from within the previous three years.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 is required (an overall BCPM GPA of 3.4 or higher is recommended).
Letters of Recommendation
- One composite letter from a pre-health committee OR three individual letters of recommendation:
- Two letters from faculty members
- One letter from a supervisor or preceptor who can speak to your clinical experience (a letter from a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine is recommended).
Community Engagement and Service
- Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to service and community through outreach, advocacy, or service activities.
Citizenship and Background Verification
- Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident (green card holders), or DACA recipient.
- A background check must be successfully completed prior to matriculation.
