Academics

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Curriculum

Students spend their first two years immersed in a rigorous, whole-person preclinical curriculum designed to build a strong foundation in basic and behavioral sciences, critical thinking, and osteopathic principles. During this time, classroom learning blends with case-based, flipped, and small-group formats that reflect our commitment to mentorship, proficiency, and collaboration.

In years 3 and 4, students transition into clinical rotations across our community and health-system partners, gaining hands-on experience in patient-centered care, interprofessional teamwork, and underserved settings. This journey aligns with our mission to form caring, competent physicians who live our values of service, inclusion, and lifelong learning, preparing graduates to positively impact health equity in Colorado and beyond.
