International Faculty and Staff Support Task Force – Call for Nominations
Help in the formation and structuring of the new International Faculty and Staff Network
The University of Northern Colorado (UNC) is looking for nominations for members to join a small task force that will aid in developing the organizational structure and bylaws for the new International Faculty and Staff Network (IFSN) at UNC.
This initiative builds on feedback gathered during the recent Community Conversation on Supporting International Faculty and Staff, which brought together faculty and staff from across campus to discuss opportunities to strengthen connection, communication and support for colleagues with international backgrounds and experiences.
The primary charge of this task force will be to design the structure of IFSN, including:
- Defining the mission and purpose of the network
- Developing the organizational structure and leadership roles
- Drafting bylaws or governance guidelines
- Recommending initial priorities for IFSN’s work
The task force is expected to complete this work during the Spring 2026 semester, with the goal of launching IFSN in Fall 2026 following elections and/or appointments, depending on the structure adopted.
The task force will consist of approximately five to six faculty and staff members, representing a range of perspectives and experiences across campus.
Faculty and staff may self-nominate or nominate a colleague. Task force members will be appointed by the Provost in consultation with the Equity Advocate for International Faculty and Staff.
Nominations may be submitted through the online form here.
Please submit nominations by Friday, April 3, 2026.
