Goodbye Ursa, Hello MyUNC

MyUNC has replaced Ursa as the university’s central portal for students, faculty and staff to access university tools and services. It features a modern interface, easier navigation and a personalized dashboard.

The migration from Ursa to MyUNC was completed on March 18. Ursa is no longer available. MyUNC is now live for all students, faculty and staff at my.unco.edu.

Everything you need to know about the switch from Ursa to MyUNC.

MyUNC is the university’s new central portal for students, faculty and staff. It replaces Ursa and brings together the tools, resources and information you use most at UNC. It is accessible from both your desktop or the mobile app.

Once MyUNC is live, you can access it at my.unco.edu.

Ursa permanently went offline at 5:30PM on March 12 as UNC migrated to MyUNC, your new campus portal.

ursa.unco.edu will now automatically redirect to my.unco.edu.

Once the migration is complete, you can go directly to my.unco.edu. If you have old bookmarks to ursa.unco.edu, those will automatically redirect to MyUNC, but we recommend updating your bookmarks once the new portal is live.

As of March 18, you can access MyUNC at my.unco.edu.

No. Canvas is not part of this migration and will continue to work as usual. Access Canvas here.

No. Use your existing UNC credentials to sign into MyUNC.

MyUNC is available on iOS and Android. The app gives you the same experience as the desktop version – same look, same tools, same login.

On your MyUNC Home page, you can pin the tools you use most to your dashboard. Click the bookmark icon on any card to save it, and drag and drop cards to rearrange your layout.

You can also add custom web links for quick access to your most-used pages.

Note: cards with a lock icon in the top right corner are fixed and cannot be moved.

Log in to MyUNC and head to the Bear Central tab. You’ll find cards for Billing and Financial Aid.

Log into MyUNC, then you can find it in the Registrar card on your Home page, or under the Registrar card in the Bear Central tab.

Log in to MyUNC and navigate to the Employee Dashboard card on your Home page, or head to the Work tab. From there you can access your pay stubs, W-2s, leave requests and more.
