Triumph and Tragedy

Come and join us for a day filled with history and fun on the beautiful campus of the University of Northern Colorado. Hundreds of middle and high school students from northeastern Colorado will participate in UNC History Day as they explore "Triumph and Tragedy in History." Students will present their research to panels of scholars including faculty members from the University of Northern Colorado History Department. Performances, documentaries, and website presentations are open to the public and attendees may view exhibits at scheduled times. Top entries will be honored at our awards ceremony.

2019 History Day Registration now open!

The 2019 History Day will take place at UNC on April 6, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.. The theme for 2019 is "Triumph and Tragedy."

Registration is now open! Registration for contest entries closes at 11:59pm on March 1st, 2019. Judges registration closes at 11:59pm on March 15th, 2019. Papers and Websites will be due and locked at 11:59 pm on March 20th, 2019.
