The focus of the MBS program is graduate-level coursework in the biomedical sciences. The program includes required and elective courses. The electives are your opportunity to direct your degree program toward the specific scientific field you plan to enter.
The coursework is diverse. This provides an excellent foundation for a career in human or veterinary medicine, or other biomedical sciences. Students can engage in laboratory research, although none is required to graduate. This research may be related to cancer, stem cells, neurobiology and other subjects.

Beyond the Classroom
Classes meet four days a week, leaving you one day off per week to gain hands-on experience. You can volunteer for local clinics or agencies that conduct research.
