Sport and Exercise Science M.S. — Biomechanics Concentration
Our program takes an applied approach. This prepares you for a wide range of careers in exercise science and biomechanics.

Thesis Option
The biomechanics master’s program totals 33 credit hours. If you choose the thesis option, you’ll complete the program by:

  1. Developing a research question
  2. Designing an original experiment
  3. Gathering and analyzing data
  4. Writing your conclusions.

Professional Research Project Option
This option covers the same coursework and internship opportunities as the thesis option. Instead of a research thesis, you’ll complete additional coursework. You’ll then obtain a national certification to meet your specific career goals and better position you for the job market.
