Optimizing Mentoring Workshops for Graduate Faculty
Optimizing Mentoring Workshops
Graduate faculty are invited to this year’s Optimizing Mentoring Workshops — a chance to connect with colleagues and engage with one of the most rewarding parts of our work: quality mentoring of graduate students within changing landscapes.
Sessions are led by UNC graduate faculty trained through the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Research Experiences. Practical strategies and real-world examples tailored to our graduate programs will be offered in an interactive workshop format.
All three workshops are required for Graduate Faculty (GF) and Doctoral Research Endorsement (DRE) applications. Applications cannot move forward to the Graduate Council until all three workshops are completed.
Upcoming Session
Workshop 3 — Wednesday, November 18, 1–2:15 p.m.
Hybrid — Campus Commons 2300
More dates will be added in the future, providing additional opportunities to complete the workshops.
