Hi! My name is Will Tranter, and this is my last year as a Master’s student in the Sociology program at UNC. I am also a full-time staff member in the Office of the Registrar as a transfer evaluation specialist. I have been working in higher education professionally while going to school for the past 10 years, some roles have included English Language instruction, testing coordination, institutional research, data analysis for grants, and in my current role I get to help streamline the prior learning credit and transfer process for incoming students. Outside of education, my research passions also include immigration, housing, and technological change. I am a visual artist and love to get outdoors to enjoy all that Colorado had to offer.
