Research Expertise & Interests
Prof. Smith teaches courses in Ancient and Medieval Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, and Philosophy of Mind. He has also taught and published widely on Greek and Latin Christian thought in Late Antiquity. Before coming to UNC in 2006, he served for eighteen years on the faculty of Religious Studies at Loyola University New Orleans.
