Responsibilities

The Cumbres Graduate Assistant supports the Gates Family Grant goals by promoting the Cumbres program and assisting with the recruitment, retention, and placement of students committed to working in rural school districts in Colorado. Key responsibilities include organizing outreach activities, developing promotional materials, engaging with prospective and current students, and providing resources to encourage careers in rural education. The Graduate Assistant also collaborates with faculty, student affairs professionals, and campus units such as Admissions and Marketing & Communications to implement initiatives that enhance student success and engagement in rural school settings.
