Biography
I am a fifth-year Clinical Psychology student at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. I have provided neuropsychological services for individuals across the lifespan, but I have a particular passion and interest in working with children and their families as a part of the diagnostic process for neurodevelopmental disorders, learning differences, or socio-emotional challenges that pediatric populations face. My clinical experience includes a variety of settings, including private practice, hospital-based settings, and community mental health.
My desire to work with children and families developed from my own experiences living and learning with individuals with complex mental health, academic, and social challenges. I am a strong believer in the power of advocacy and am passionate about working to provide children and their families with the resources they need to thrive. These experiences continue to motivate me to better understand the connections between the brain, mind, and body; the role of parenting support and attachment; and how to support children in becoming their best selves in their academic, home, and social environments.
When I’m not studying or working, I hark back to my Minnesotan roots and enjoy time spent outdoors, hiking, swimming, and going on weekend adventures to new places. I love to read, quilt, put together jigsaw puzzles, cook and bake, host get-togethers for her friends, and cuddle with her dog. I am so excited to work in Fort Collins and look forward to meeting you!
