Biography
Kerry Egan is a dual-certified speech-language pathologist and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with over 17 years of experience working with children with autism and complex communication needs across school-based and early intervention settings. She has held clinical and leadership roles, including Director of Speech and Language Services at an international special-education school.
Kerry holds a clinical doctorate in speech-language pathology and is currently pursuing a PhD in Special Education. Her scholarly interests include integrating developmental and behavioral approaches through naturalistic and play-based intervention, supporting children with complex communication needs, multidisciplinary collaboration, and research-to-practice translation. Her work draws on perspectives across speech-language pathology, behavior analysis, and special education to promote holistic, student-centered care and meaningful participation for students with disabilities.
Kerry is also engaged in clinical training and mentorship of graduate students and is committed to preparing clinicians and educators who integrate evidence-based practice, ethical responsibility, and reflective practice into their professional roles.
