- 2016-2020: National Leadership Consortium in Sensory Disabilities (NLCSD) Scholar, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), U.S. Department of Education. Four years of tuition and $24,000 annual living stipend to pursue a Ph.D. in special education.
- 2020: Recipient of the Council for Exceptional Children- Division on Career Development and Transition (DCDT) 2020 Graduate Research Scholarship for $1,000.
- 2019: Awarded a scholarship from the Erik Weihenmayer Reach Foundation to cover the cost of airfare to present at the International Symposium on Physical Activity and Individuals with Visual Impairments or Deafblindness in Edinburgh, Scotland.
