Biography
I’m a fourth-year Sociology major at UNC, pursuing a Certificate in Equity and Inclusion after transferring from Aims Community College with my Associate’s degree. I’ve been a Research Assistant with the Social Research Lab since January 2026, and I love that research, at its core, is just storytelling. Above all, my most important role is being a mom to my kids, Kayden and Tianna! I believe it’s never too late to chase your dreams, seek knowledge, and grow, because healing and thriving are at the core of the journey.

Field of Interest
Equity and inclusion, community-based research, and turning research into stories that connect to real people’s lives. One day, I hope to open my own nonprofit supporting women struggling with addiction by providing resources and hope on their path to recovery. I’ve also decided to continue my academic journey by applying to graduate here at UNC to pursue Clinical Psychology and Mental Health Counseling so I can serve people directly.
