Harry Moran

Harry Moran serves as the Residential Coordinator for Turner Hall. Originally from the East Coast (right outside of D.C. in the Great State of Maryland), he graduated with a double degree in French and Russian Languages and Literatures from University of Maryland College Park in 2010 and completed his M.A. in Russian in 2023 at Middlebury College in Vermont. He comes to UNC with a decade of experience in supporting high-school and college students as they adjust to life while studying abroad in the former Soviet Union (Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia). He is excited to use these experiences and skills to support the students at UNC and to help them achieve their personal and academic goals while here on campus.

I’m passionate about foreign languages, traveling, news, movies, going on long walks and Linkin Park – if you see me around campus, let me know what your favorite LP song is or, better yet, what your favorite album is! Looking forward to meeting the students here and becoming a part of the larger campus community.
