I spent two years in the sociology and undergraduate program at UNC and enjoyed it so much that I continued to study for a Master’s degree in Sociology. The Social Research Lab has been integral to my education, as it has taught me how to use what I learn in the classroom to work on projects that make an impact. Since 2023, I have contributed to Social Return on Investment analyses for social welfare programs in Weld County, assisted faculty members with student centered projects, carried out interviews and oversaw survey distribution, and prepared professional reports for clients. After finishing this Master’s degree, I want to continue providing service that help data turn into progress.
