Residential Coordinator, Harrison Hall
Biography
Hiya! I am the Residential Coordinator for Harrison Hall.
I have a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Psychology from Carroll College in Helena, MT, and I obtained a master’s degree with honors in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Sheffield in Sheffield, United Kingdom. As an undergrad, I served as a Resident Assistant, and this ignited a passion for supporting students in their journeys on campus, especially in helping them make connections and find places where they truly feel they can grow and belong. In my time as an international student while pursuing my MA in England, I gained new perspectives on student support and engagement across cultures. As a professional, I have four years of experience in residence life, as a Resident Director at Montana State University Billings in Billings, Montana, where I also Co-Advised the Residence Hall Association and won the campus-wide Advisor of the Year Award in 2019-2020, and as a Residence Hall Coordinator at Central Washington University, where I also advised three Hall Councils. I am passionate about students having a voice in their residence life and educational systems, and I aim to offer support and guidance so that students can have the best on-campus experiences possible.
I am well-known in my halls for making puns, dad jokes, and fun niche references quite often. In my free time, I enjoy reading, binge-watching great shows and movies, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I am thrilled to be working and UNC, and would be ecstatic if you stopped by my office to tell me about your favorite new shows or books, or the best places/things to do in Greeley or the surrounding area.
