Education
Claire is currently in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s program at UNC. She received her bachelor’s degree from UNC with a major in psychology and minors in biology and nutrition.
Professional Experience & Affiliations
Claire moved to Greeley, Colorado in 2019 to pursue a bachelor’s degree at UNC. During her undergraduate degree, she worked with the Office of Undergraduate Academic Engagement as a Research Assistant and the Office of Admissions as a Student Ambassador. She has worked for the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI), Sexual Assault Victim Advocate (SAVA) Center, and a mental health therapy private practice. She is part of the professional organizations Psi Chi, Chi Sigma Iota, and Mortar Board.
As the Associate Director of Veterans Services, she is the advisor for the SALUTE National Honors Society and Student Veterans of America (SVA).
Claire has a history of researching social media and body images. Currently her interests align with increasing mental health accessibility for the military-connected community.
