Biography
Andrew serves as a Learning & Career Specialist at the University of Northern Colorado College of Osteopathic Medicine, supporting the success of students who are navigating the rigorous demands of medical education.
Andrew began his career in higher education in 2005 as a lecturer at the University of Northern Colorado, a role he balanced with his work as a clinical exercise physiologist and department internship coordinator at North Colorado Medical Center (Greeley, CO). Through these dual roles, he developed a passion for supporting the academic and professional development of diverse student populations through holistic advising, mentoring, and teaching. In 2018, he transitioned out of full-time clinical healthcare to focus entirely on higher education as a faculty lecturer, academic advisor, and health professions advisor at UNC. Spanning more than two decades across clinical and academic settings, Andrew has dedicated his career to empowering students as they bridge the gap between academic excellence and clinical proficiency.
