Colorado Center for Assessment
The Colorado Center for Assessment (CCA) is a multidisciplinary, outpatient private practice specializing in comprehensive, strengths-based psychological and neuropsychological evaluation with children and adults. Located in Fort Collins along the front range of northern Colorado, their mission is to maintain strong community relationships in the interest of best serving their clients and their families.

CCA’s staff includes several licensed psychologists and neuropsychologists. They provide knowledgeable, compassionate care for children and adults with:
- ADHD
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Mood disorders
- Learning disorders
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Suspected cognitive decline
- Medically complex presentations (i.e., epilepsy, stroke, TBI)
Intern Experience
The intern experience will primarily include psychological/neuropsychological evaluation of children (child track) and adults (adult track) using best practice standards for assessment. Interns will have the opportunity to develop and hone their assessment and writing skills with two complete evaluations per week.
Interns placed at CCA will also engage in individual psychotherapy with children and families (child track), and adults (adult track) utilizing evidence-based practices. Interns will maintain a caseload of 3-5 individual clients per week. Supervisors are skilled in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Interns will also have the option to participate in CCA’s workshop program, which offers psychoeducational workshops on topics like adult ADHD and parenting skills.
Interns will participate in staff meetings and coordinate care with local providers, including physicians, school staff, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, and other mental health practitioners.
