A district-university partnership to support and fully scholarship paraprofessionals to earn a bachelor’s or master’s degree and special education teacher licensure.
Addresses special education workforce issues through high school dual enrollment pathways, supporting paraprofessionals to become special education teachers, and providing professional development training in mentoring and educational coaching.

Prepared to Teach Grant
Prepared to Teach grant to investigate the financial burdens of candidates completing the final two years of their teacher preparation programs in Colorado. Data was used to successfully support funding for Colorado S.B. 21-185 to provide financial assistance to help candidates complete their educator preparation program.
