Our staff is passionate about working with, and supporting UNC students in determining and implementing their career related goals.
Whether it is assisting you with deciding on a major or learning ways to gain experience and employment within a chosen career or industry, we are eager to work with you on learning more about who you are now, and who you will be after UNC. It is never too early to visit Center for Career Readiness!
Virtual Drop-In Sessions
Drop-in for a 10 to 15 minute meeting with a Career Counselor Monday - Friday, between noon and 3 p.m. Drop-ins are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for UNC students and recent alumni.
Simply email career.readiness@unco.edu to request a virtual drop-in.
Drop-ins will not be available on Jan. 25th, Jan. 27th and Jan. 29th, 2021.
Virtual Meetings
If you want to connect with a Career Counselor for up to 30 minutes, you can do so via scheduled appointment. All appointments will be conducted virtually.

Document Review
We can also review documents via e-mail. If you have a resume, cover letter, graduate school essay etc. you can send it to career.readiness@unco.edu and a career counselor will review it and send it back with comments and considerations within one week.
Presentations
Just like your courses, presentations can still be conducted virtually! If you would like to request a presentation for a group, submit a request and someone will get back to you shortly letting you know who will be presenting.
Job, Internship and Graduate School Fairs and K-12 Educator Employment Day(s)
Each semester, the Center for Career Readiness hosts an all-campus Job, Internship and Graduate School Fair and a K-12 Educator Employment Day(s). Through these events, you can meet with employers seeking to hire UNC students and alumni.
