UNC's Center for Career Readiness
Our staff is passionate about working with, and supporting UNC students in determining and implementing their career related goals. Whether it is assisting you with deciding on a major or learning ways to gain experience and employment within a chosen career or industry, we are eager to work with you on learning more about who you are now, and who you will be after UNC. It is never too early to visit Center for Career Readiness!
Students seeking to connect with a career counselor can do so with a scheduled appointment or via drop- in hours. Both services will be offered remotely.
We can also review documents via e-mail. If you have a resume, cover letter, graduate school essay etc. you can send it to firstname.lastname@example.org and a career counselor will review it and send it back with comments and considerations within one week.
Just like your courses presentations can still be conducted virtually! If you would like to request a presentation for a group, submit a request and someone will get back to you shortly letting you know who will be presenting.
All university in-person and university events have been cancelled for the spring 2020 semester. This includes UNC's Spring 2020 K-12 Educator Employment Days and K-12 Educator Employment Day Prep Workshop. For candidates who were planning to connect with employers during this event here are some tips.
Students' long-term goals include
