Your Latinx Home Away from Home

The César Chávez Cultural Center (CCCC) is a welcoming space for all students, rooted in the celebration of Latine culture and heritage. While our focus is on uplifting and supporting Latine students, we welcome everyone who values equity, culture, and community. The CCCC is a place where you’ll be respected, empowered, and connected—a true home away from home at UNC.

What We Do: Empowerment Through Community

At the CCCC, we create programs and services that empower students, celebrate Latine culture, and build community across campus. Through cultural events, leadership opportunities, and advocacy, we support students in their academic, personal, and social success.

The Center is also home to the First Generation Near Peer Program, where first-generation college students mentor their peers and local middle and high school students. Mentors earn a stipend while developing leadership skills, supporting others, and creating pathways for success.

Our mission is to affirm Latine identity while fostering belonging for everyone. Whether you’re joining a cultural celebration, seeking mentorship, or simply looking for a supportive space, the CCCC is here for you.
