Tuition Waiver Changes 

Employees will continue to receive up to 9 credit hours per academic year. Below you will find some helpful information on the changes coming 7/1/2019 to the tuition waiver benefit.

Vacant Positions

Vacant positions will be held open for 60 days before rehiring can occur beginning July 1, 2018. That also will allow time to review the position to determine need, and redefine or restructure the open position. Personnel costs account for 71 percent of the FY19 budget PAF-60-Day-Hold

Laying the Groundwork for Retirement

Cris de la Torre is a Professor of Finance at the University of Northern Colorado and regularly teaches the Introduction to Personal Financial Planning course offered through the Monfort College of Business.

His session will focus on the basics of retirement and what you should know if you're at the beginning of your retirement-planning journey.

PERA 1-on-1 Coversations

UNC Human Resources would like to remind staff that PERA is available to discuss your retirement needs and answer question as to how the retirement process works. PERA recommends 1-on-1 conversations so folks can ask personally specific questions in a private setting.
