In this program, you’ll work with couples and families as part of our clinical training series. You’ll also learn through live supervision by counseling professionals.

Our classes are small and interactive. You’ll work with approachable faculty who have diverse counseling and research expertise. You’ll also benefit from a wide range of professional networking opportunities in the community and beyond. When you graduate, you’ll be eligible to become a Nationally Certified Counselor.

M.A. in Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling/Therapy
Our graduates usually achieve one of the following credentials:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

These are through the Department of Regulatory Agencies in Colorado or the licensing agency in the state in which you live.

Where can your degree take you?
Our graduates go on to work in professional settings. These include substance abuse centers, residential treatment centers and private practice.
