Performing and Visual Arts Programs

School of Music
We are a vibrant community of performers, composers, educators and music industry professionals. They believe in the power of music to transform the world. We have a longstanding history of excellence in creativity and scholarship. We strive to continue this in our day-to-day pursuits and rely on this to guide our future.

The school has earned a Grammy nomination and won over 125 Down Beat Student Music Awards. We have sent students and faculty as ambassadors around the world, including Europe, China and South America.

School of Theatre Arts and Dance
We provide training for students who plan to pursue careers in professional theatre or as teachers of theatre arts. We cultivate an appreciation and understanding of theatre through an anti-racist lens. We work with Broadway for Racial Justice to ensure that theatre is a vehicle for the enrichment of life. This is studied and viewed via the full spectrum of American society and culture.

You will not only be exposed to rigorous academics in the classroom but also enjoy a wide variety of performance opportunities. You’ll get to work alongside nationally recognized guest artists. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore every facet of the theatrical arts.

School of Art and Design
We are a leader in the preparing distinguished artists and art educators in Colorado and beyond. We have a challenging and comprehensive curriculum. It integrates studio and classroom exploration with education. You will gain hands-on studio experience in a nationally accredited program. We have small class sizes and an emphasis on individual attention. Our curriculum is designed to give you the opportunity to explore different media. It also expands your knowledge under the guidance of faculty artists.
