Paying it Forward

Receiving a scholarship can mean the difference between completing or quitting the pursuit of an education. In 2019, 25 students were surprised to learn that they would receive an $8000 scholarship toward the continuation their UNC education, a gift inspired by an act of generosity that occurred 60 prior.

Thanks to both the generosity of donors and the hard work of MCB staff member Melissa Hoffman, UNC’s Professional Attire Closet is providing students with free professional clothing to help them approach interviews, networking events and presentations with confidence.
