Now the owner of the online thrift store, Eclecticism, her business began as a website she created for her web design class in high school.
UNC’s Accounting Department Moves to Top in State and Global Rankings
March 21, 2022 — The Accounting and Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department at the University of Northern Colorado’s Monfort College of Business (MCB) has been ranked as the number one program in the world for experimental research in Accounting Information Systems (AIS). The top recognition, from among more than 630 universities measured, comes from the annual Brigham Young University Accounting rankings.
Finalists Announced for the 2022 Monfort College of Business Entrepreneurial Challenge
February 16, 2022 — The Monfort College of Business (MCB) at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) has announced the finalists in both the Collegiate and Open Divisions for the 2022 Entrepreneurial Challenge. Each finalist will present their business concept to a panel of experts, get actionable advice on how to move their business ideas to the next level and compete for a share of $25,000 in prize money.
UNC Dean Named Fellow of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship

Students Earn Dean's Citation for Excellence for Fall Semester
February 27, 2018 — Over 200 students earned the Dean's Citation for Academic Excellence in the Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado for the 2017 spring semester. To qualify for the citation, business majors must attain a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the semester.
