Academic Appeals Board
Graduate Student Association Representatives
Academic Appeals Board (AAB) representatives, along with graduate faculty members, review graduate student appeals on a case-by-case basis. Appeal hearings involve document reviews and/or full-board reviews (similar to a court hearing with testimony). The GSA selects up to 15 graduate student representatives to serve on a pool for the AAB during the academic year. Up to five GSA representatives may be selected from the pool to serve on an AAB hearing (based on availability).
Graduate students interested in openings for this position should contact GSA Director David Shimokawa.
