From Crayons to Connections
Join Dr. Jean Kirshner for a discussion of the work between classroom teachers in Colorado and Belize, Central America, which is described in recently published Routledge title, “Decolonizing Transcultural Teacher Education through Participatory Action Research.” It describes our collective journey in becoming vulnerable to each other. In the spaces of each others “life worlds”, that is, each others classrooms, homes, and communities, we were able to co-create new spaces for our identities.
