UNC Students Brew with Crabtree Brewing Co.
In spring 2018, UNC's Brewing Laboratory Science Program started a partnership with Crabtree Brewing Co. to produce a collaborative beer series, "Klawz Kollab." Crabtree Brewing Co. is owned by alumnus Jeff Crabtree '05.

Alumnus Rudy Kadlub’s path from football coach to fitness entrepreneur took him from Davis California to Portland, Oregon, with stops in Greeley, Colorado and Boise, Idaho in between. Today, he runs Kabuki Strength. Part gym, part fitness manufacturer, part shipping hub, and part recording studio – Kabuki Strength is not the company you might expect from a real estate developer. But mix in a master of arts in physical education from UNC, a strength in sales, and Rudy Kadlub’s enterprise starts to make a lot of sense.
