Registration

How to register

Registration Deadline: March 22nd (forms and fees).

Authors of a poster or oral talk

  1. Each author who will be attending the conference should complete an author form.  If a poster or oral talk has more than one author, each author who will be attending the conference should complete an author form. 
  2. For each poster or oral talk, one abstract form should be completed.
  3. Completed author and abstract forms should be submitted to the Tribeta chapter's Faculty Advisor at your institution.
  4. The registration fee for each attendee ($60 per person) should be transferred to the Tribeta chapter's Faculty Advisor at your institution.

Chapter advisors

A chapter registration form should be completed to include information about each author, attendee, or faculty member from the institution who will be registering for the conference.  All forms (one chapter registration form, all author forms, and all abstract forms) should be transmited by email to the Conference Director.

At the time that registration documents are transmitted, all registration fees for faculty members and students ($60 per attendee) should be transmitted to the Conference Director by U.S. postal delivery.  At this time, only checks can be accepted.  Please make checks payable to: Phi Omicron, University of Northern Colorado.

Afternoon Activities

1-5 PM - Choose among these activities:

For all ages...

  1. Greeley Jazz Festival on UNC campus (fees required).
  2. 1:00-2:00 PM, Snake bonanza with Dr. Stephen Mackessy -- Gather first at Ross Hall, Room 1010.
  3. 2:30-4:00, a guided tour by Dr. Scott Franklin of the Poudre river and ponds at the Poudre Learning Center field site, 8313 West F Street, Greeley (car-pooling to the PLC is necessary, about 15 minutes travel time from the UNC campus).

For those over the age of 21 years...

  • 3:00 PM: Meet at Weldwerks, a local micro-brewery (508 8th Ave. Greeley, CO 80631), for a tour of their facilities.  Car-pooling will be necessary -- about 15 minutes travel time from the UNC campus.

Meet in Ross Hall for the morning scientific sessions

The Ross Hall of Science is located on the west side of 11th Avenue at 22nd Street in Greeley (see Google map here).  The best parking lot for accessing Ross Hall is the C lot on the east side of 11th avenue between 22nd and 23rd streets.  Please see the UNC parking map.

Gunter Hall is located on the east side of 10th Avenue at Cranford Place (see Google map here).  The best parking for access to Gunter Hall is along 10th Avenue.
