Annual Security Report

The 2022 UNC Campus Security and Fire Safety Report is available to download here.

This report is provided in compliance with the Clery Act. The purpose of the annual security report is to provide campus crime statistics on certain crimes in specified geographic areas. The statistics include a three-year comparison of crimes in on-campus property, non-campus property, public property and residence halls.

This report includes the Universities policies and procedures that are in place to reduce crime, resources available on campus and in the surrounding community, and information on crime prevention programs. At UNC we also include the Higher Education Opportunity Act required Fire Safety Report and Missing Persons Policy. These elements are required for universities that maintain on-campus student housing facilities.

By October 1 of each year, an email notification is made to all enrolled students, faculty and staff, with a direct link to our annual security report. This information is also available to prospective students and employees on the websites where they obtain additional information. Any person may have access to the report. Hard copies of the report may be printed from the website or requested by contacting the Assistant Clery Compliance Officer at rebecca.thompson@unco.edu.
