CETL Fall Webinars on Teaching& Learning in the Age of AI

Although our regular webinar series is on pause this semester while a search is ongoing for the new CETL director, we are fortunate to be able to offer a two-part series on Teaching with AI. This topic was originally targeting new faculty, but we are now inviting everyone across campus because of broad interest.

Teaching with AI Session 1: An Introduction

Thursday Oct 30th, 11am - 12pm
This session will introduce generative AI, AI literacy, and practical applications of AI in classrooms and research. Facilitated by Rachel Dineen, Head of Teaching & Learning and Associate Professor, University Libraries

Teaching with AI Session 2: Advanced Uses

Tuesday Nov 11th, 11am - 12pm
The session will cover more advanced ways to use AI with students, including creating custom agents and developing interactive content. We will also take a brief look at a few AI tools to explore further.
