Hey Bears! As you are surely aware, due to the recent school closures, many teachers, parents, and caregivers are struggling to adjust to the online/alternative delivery of K-12 education. UNC is here to help! The College of Education and Behavioral Science has created a virtual learning support program called UNC Bear Educators Supporting Teachers (BEST). In this program, parents, caregivers, and teachers can request virtual support in a variety of areas.
If you know of anyone that may benefit from this program, please encourage them to sign up and share the attached instruction sheet. You can find a UNC News article about the program here. Feel free to include any of this information in upcoming newsletters, social media, emails, or other communication. Questions about requesting support should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Students, faculty, and staff who would like to volunteer for this program, please register via UNC Engage. Log in and respond to the UNC BEST Volunteer opportunity linked here. You will be matched with an individual in the community and we let you take it from there.
Questions about the BEST Program should be directed to Corey Pierce at email@example.com.
