The Office of Academic Community Engagement is a host site for the AmeriCorps K2H Civic Futures Program, in collaboration with Campus Compact of the Mountain West (CCMW) and other Colorado institutions. K2H Civic Futures Program focuses on civic learning and engagement opportunities and skill development for kindergarten through higher education (K-H) students. 

Undergraduate Student Positions 

ACE is working to recruit K2H AmeriCorps Member participants who will collaborate with schools in the Greeley-Evans School District 6. AmeriCorps members will collaborate with the Office of Academic Community Engagement and will be responsible for both civic learning, community engagement and skill development program implementation with K-12 youth and for partnership development between K-H teams, AmeriCorps Liaisons and UNC.

Graduate Student Position 

K2H AmeriCorps Member participants will collaborate with UNC’s Office of Academic Community Engagement, the Juntos Project, District 6 Family Center and Greeley-Evans School District 6. They will be responsible for both civic learning and engagement program implementation with K-12 youth (Civic Mentors) and for partnership development between K-H teams, AmeriCorps Liaisons and UNC.
