• UNC's Graduate Commencement ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 9 at the Butler-Hancock Field House.

• Professor Joan L. Clinefelter in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences has earned this year’s M. Lucile Harrison Award, the University of Northern Colorado's top faculty honor.

• UNC's College of Performing and Visual Arts is offering summer learning activities for all ages and interests.

• UNC Professor of Marketing Vish Iyer earns a national award, one of 10 professors in the country selected for teaching excellence in his field.

• UNC Professor of Psychology Nancy Karlin was recently named the recipient of the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association's 2008 Distinguished Service Award.

• Debra Holman, associate director of the University Honors Program, has been named this year's recipient of the Dr. Jean Schober Morrell Award for Leadership in Student Affairs.

• The 2008 Faculty Recognition Reception will be Monday, May 12, 3-5 p.m. in the Panorama Room of the University Center.

• SPEEC and PASC will honor all UNC employees and celebrate the end of the academic year with a free ice cream social Wednesday, May 14, 3:30-5 p.m. in the University Center Ballrooms. All employees are invited to attend.

• The method for dialing long distance calls from campus phones will change on May 28, 2008 with the completion of UNC's transition from analog to digital phone service and equipment.
