The United Voice of UNC's Classified Staff
CSC Umpteenth Annual Yard Sale!
The Yard Sale was a success! Thanks to the residents in the residence halls for donating their unwanted goods, to the UNC Cheerleaders for collecting the items from the halls and bringing them to the Gray Gym, to the Council members for sorting, pricing, and selling, and, most of all, to everyone who came to the event! We netted over $2500, which will be divided between the CSC Scholarship Fund and the Cheerleading Squad. Let's do it again next year!
Openings For the 2012-2013 Council Year
There will be seven (6) 2-year term vacancies on the Council next year. A "Council Year" runs from July through the following June. Grab a Councilor Nomination Form and submit to any CSC member by May 15, 2012. Self-nominations are certainly welcome! Please consider joining us - CSC cannot be "the united voice of UNC's Classified Staff" without you!
Specifically, we need representation from the following areas:
* Dining Services (Holmes / T-K / UC)
* Frasier / Guggenheim / Crabbe Halls
* Gunter Hall
* Kepner Hall
* Parsons Hall
Our Purpose
The Classified Staff Council (CSC) at the University of Northern Colorado represents all Classified Employees working at the University.
The Council is recognized by the Board of Trustees as a Shared-Governance Group and has representation on many University committees. While our primary purpose is to represent Classified Staff at UNC, we strive to promote activities which benefit not only Classified Staff, but also all segments of the University community, including exempt staff, faculty, and students.
CSC serves as a liaison between the Classified Staff and the University Administration, as well as the Faculty Senate, Professional Administrative Staff Council (PASC), and the Student Senate.
Membership is open to any permanent UNC Classified Employee, and the Council consists of 25 members.
