The President’s Leadership Council met this week and discussed the Budget 101 campus presentation that CFO Michelle Quinn and I started hosting this week. As a reminder, if you missed the Wednesday or Thursday session, please be sure to join us for one of the remaining presentations as Michelle will give an overview of UNC budget trends and how we arrived at our $10-million structural deficit. She and I will take questions and invite discussion. The sessions are open to everyone on campus, and the same information will be presented each time. The remaining schedule is:
- Monday, Nov. 26, 1-2:30 p.m., UC Columbine B
- Tuesday, Nov. 27, 8:30-10 a.m., UC Panorama Room
Also, PLC continues to engage in conversations about cost-saving strategies and no decisions have been made. That discussion will continue through December with campus follow-up in early spring.
