After spending 15 years in public education as a high school history teacher and a junior high school/middle school assistant principal, Dr. Weiler completed his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Virginia Tech in 2007. Since that time, Dr. Weiler has been fortunate enough to publish three books, eight book chapters, 27 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and seven non-juried articles. The focus of his research efforts is to ensure that all students have access to an adequate and appropriate educational experience.
