After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Northern Colorado in mathematics and philosophy, Oscar Levin earned his Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Connecticut. Since returning to UNC as faculty in the mathematical sciences, he has published the widely adopted open source textbook Discrete Mathematics: an Open Introduction.
