Michael Ian Cohen is the co-author, with Gary L. Anderson (New York University) of
The New Democratic Professional in Education: Confronting Markets, Metrics, and Managerialism, which was published by Teachers College Press in 2018. Prior to joining UNC's faculty
in 2015, Michael served as a teacher and administrator in public school districts
in New Jersey and Colorado.
