David Caldwell teaches courses in German language, culture, and literature as well as in Film Studies. He is a frequent traveler to Germany, especially Berlin, and has conducted research and engaged in professional development activities in German studies and film studies under the auspices of the Fulbright Association and the National Endowment for the Humanities. In Colorado he regularly attends the Telluride Film Festival.
